Bad X-mas!!
Horable,absolutely horable! Early friday morning my serpentine belt broke. So no power steering or alternator or heat.(it was -17 wind chill) Brakes were frozen,now you have the details.
I hit a 1 foot tall snow drift at around 35mph, it spun me instantly into the ditch and into a pole.
I was so pissed at myself. My girl is all messed up because I was going too fast for my conditions and problems. Hope the insurance doesn't total it.
Damage starts at the cattle gaurd and goes all the way to the back 1/4 panel,plus both back doors and the bumper. I'm getting sick just talking about it.
So I might be looking for a 4 door dually 7.3 in the short future.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Most important thing now is your Daughter. Hope she is not hurt to serious. If your belt was in good shape it might of been the tensioner that caused the problem. Keep your head up and things should get better for you.

Well that makes me feel better no one was hurt. If they do total it you might consider buying it back and parting it out. Sounds like you had some good stuff on it. Sorry about your "girl".

Thanks for sharing because it just might get someone else to slow down a little and save them from an even worse fate.
"Haste makes waste" and in this case it may have just wasted your EX.

No pics, i'm bad with that stuff. Can do it on the cell,ut not with he comp. stuff. I was only doing 35 and it still tore her up pretty bad. Not cool an definately not smart on my behalf.

Mine isn't that bad at all. Cattle pusher,LF 1/4,steering little off,driver door(both)B pillar,back bumper,both rear doors,and a little on the rear 1/4. It's still very drivable. Hope they won't total it!!!!
