97 MM Window Problem
1997 Mercury Mountaineer
Drivers window starts out going down r e a l s l o w then speeds up to normal about half way down when it is below 30 deg. F outside. All other windows go down and up just fine and the driver window goes back up at normal speed. Anyone had this problem? Do you think it is the regulator or switch going bad or just cold grease in the motor?

You were correct. I cleaned the regulator tracks and lubed them, now it works just fine. Took longer to get the dang door panel and moisture barrier off (without tearing it) than it did to clean and lube the tracks.
