I bought a 1956 F600 from Georgia for 600.00 And that was in 2006 I believe.
I bought several Big Job firetrucks and a well truck all for less than 1000 dollars.
I am buying a 57 F600 for 1000 dollars in a few weeks.
Big trucks require heavy truck and trailer and more money to haul and wider.
I use a deckover goosneck with a diesel supercab. Hauling F100s ...I use my awd van and a 18' light trailer....so the hauling is a big factor...especially is brakes are not working or it doesn't run......and also need a winch.
I have no idea where the truck is located ,but a fter closeby has had a 56 f600 for sale for 1800 and has not sold it in 2-3 yrs......the big trucks have to be very clean and worth either tearing apart or using as much as possible to build a small truck. I keep my trucks stock.....and so if I buy it....it will remain as nice and as stock as I can do.
