interchangeable ford transmission?
Is it possible to put a 6 speed manual transmission out of a 2000 ford f350 7.3 pwerstroke in to a 1995 f350 7.3 powerstroke? If you one could give many any help on this matter i would appreciate it greatly. My 95 f350 has the E40D and i can get all of the parts to convert to a manual but i really want to put a 6 speed in it instead of a 5 speed

I suggest you do a search for ZF6 or similar keywords. I am no expert, but I remember reading a thread (fairly recently) about the subject. If I recall, it can be done, at some expense, and the opinion was that it was not worth it. I might be wrong, however.
