Due to limited selection of replacement 16.5 in. wheels, I've decided to switch to 16 inch on my 1976 F350 supercab. If I mount 245/75R16 tires, my tire/wheel diameter will be the same as the current 9.5R16.5 combination. My concern is whether the 16 inch wheel will clear the front calibers; I don't believe there will be a problem with the rear drums. Anyone done this that can verify I won't have a clearance problem?

I am in the process of putting 16" wheels on my 1973 Ford one ton dually with front disc brakes.
So far I have encountered no problems with fit.

Been there, done that.
