How do you know it works better, or is this just a "I think it does so it does" sort of thing? Have you had the oil tested running the two different types of oil in it?

.... ah dont worry about it.

people are going to run what they want to run on/in their cars and trucks

i just try to help with a suggestion of what i use

this is turning into the spark plug thread all over again

the E3's are better but every one wants to run the cheap copper coz its "OEM specified"

but whats so great about seafoam? if its that gummed up u would be better off pulling it and doing a rebuild.

No i don't get my info off the internet or testing , just personal experiance . Like i said above , an old motor with 275,000 miles on it , the high mileage oil works better in that truck , So thats what i use in it , im not going to reseal the motor when its just leaking a few drops , not worth it to me for an old work truck ....Where do you get your info ??? ... Lew

I get my information from actual experience and oil analysis from oil labs, not what I "feel" is better.

If you don't want to use expensive oil because it's more expensive, that's understandable. It's just not fair for you to say it's "better" to all the people that read this and just believe it.

Maybe later we can smoke some reefer, drink until we can't feel feelings anymore and then hug it all out

I've watched the commercials about z-max on hp tv. I also googled z-max and found a court action FTC vs z-max from early 90s. In the writeup against company's performance claims it stated z-max was a mixture of mineral oil and blue dye. Not that that is bad; but is it that good? I also just recently used Lucas and I don't think I will do that again.
