Power Heated Seats ?

I have done an exhaustive search for info on wiring up power heated seats in a truck that did not come with them but can't find much. I know the power part is easy, basicly just a hot lead and a ground. With the heated part of the equasion I have heard many conflicting stories. Has anybody successfuly done this? Is there a wiring diagrahm on the net anywhere? Any Ford techs out there that could throw some light on this topic. Maybe a thread that explains the process? I just got a heck of a deal on a complete black leather interior and would love to get the heaters working. Thanks and have a Merry Christmas everyone.

Hook up the heated seat feature. I got a set of heated leather seats from an 05 that I want to hook up in a 99 that had manual seats.

Run a fused power wire and a ground wire, each of an appropriate wire gauge.

You should have a module under each seat that controls the heating elements themselves. There should be a heavy red black that was originally fed by a 30 amp hot all the time circuit, and a smaller white/lightblue that is hooked to a 10 amp fused key-on circuit. These same circuits also split and feed the passenger side module. Both modules have a black ground wire and there are lots of wires going from the modules to the heating elements themselves, but hopefully you got these wires and the modules with the seats.
