Another 62 needing some decoding help!

Hey fellas,

A couple weeks ago I posted a listing to a 62 F100 I found and planned on keeping. I still have the truck and am currently putting a new timing chain in it, but when in Oregon a few days ago I came across another factory 4x4 at a steel for $600. I couldn't pass it up because where I live in Kentucky these old 4x4s are virtually nonexistant. So I brought it back on a tow dolly and it looks nice parked beside my F100 4x4 SWB. I could really use some help decoding this as well if at all possible:

V.I.N.. # F26CR311445 W.B.: 120 COLOR: J MODEL: F262 TRANS: F AXLE: B4B MAX GVW LBS: 6600 CERT. NET HORSEPOWER: 135 NET HORSEPOWER RPM: 3800 D.S.0.: 740734

Thanks a ton for all your help. I am really excited about this truck as well. It still has the original 292 and I'm going to leave it in there. I just found a 4 barrell intake for it on ebay and it arrived the other day. I love these old Flaresides!

Wow Bill thanks for the insight! When I first saw this truck I knew it looked like a truck on steroids. I towed it back on a tow dolly behind my 97 F350 Crew Cab Diesel and believe it or not I could really feel the weight of that truck.... and that's with the driveshafts out of it. This truck is huge and is heavy as well. It turned a lot of heads. They say you can get 35's on these trucks stock being a high boy and all (even though they didn't call them that until 74). It is the kind of truck a lot of people ask about, and it's the first thing I've ever owned that has had a gear ratio lower than 4.10s. It should really move with even that 292 in it!
