In my latest project (66 F100 short wide bed on a 78 F250 frame), I used a 78 F250 Tilt column (no ignition switch), the dash clamp harvested from an 66 F100 column, a steering wheel from a 53 Ford pickup. I used the horn contact ring from the old 66 steering wheel. A little fabrication/drilling and grinding and I have a wheel/column setup that is all Ford. The cost was minimal. I love making Junk Yard stuff work.
