What do you think about winsdor sr. heads? 202 intake and 160 ex. 200cc intake runners. 400+hp?

Nope.. I don't think they flow well enough despite the valve and runner sizes, I believe the RHS heads do better. To get 400+hp you need heads that flow as well as AFR185's and then you need either lots of rpm or lots of displacement to move enough air. Here's a chart comparing many of the popular heads..

And here's the RHS flow data..

Thanks for the input. I am going to go with the RHS heads. I found a set of windsor sr. on ebay but the deal sounds to good to be ture. 400 may be a out of reach goal but I am going to try my best to make it, and keep the engine tame enough for every day driving. When I get the thing together I will post a video of the start up. We have a shop here in town with a rear wheel dyno $60 per pull I am going to have it checked. I have heard you loose 100hp between the flywheel and the rear wheel is that about right?

You loose 20-25% of crank output with an automatic drivetrain if the vehicle has stock sized tires, more with bigger meats. Manual drivetrain losses are more in the 15-20% range.

This is going on a 5.8? Will it be carbed or EFI?
