When I replaced that hose some time ago, the Ford dealer parts counter told me the old around-the-belt hose had been superceded, and was no longer available. Let us know if you find otherwise, I might need to go have a little "chat" with that dealership.

Here's the Ford part number in pic but you can get a Gates at Napa and online at Rock Auto.
Napa part # NBH 9066 NAPA Online Link Bottom right hand corner it says:
Application Information: 2000 Ford Truck F250 Super Duty 3/4 Ton - Pickup
Engines : 7.3 L 446 CID V8 Diesel
Comments: Preferred Hose;Routes Around Serpentine Belt
They should be able to cross reference for a Gates.

my local napa had the part just finshed changing out the hose and the belt. The sqeeking noise has been fixed. I think the belt was on its way out and the idler pullies had rubber from the belt built up on them. I cleaned the pullies and fired her up. Numbers marked on parts (after 1956) are Ford ID engineering numbers, not Ford part numbers.
