casting numbers for 390
Can anybody identify this engine. On the intake it has C4ME 9425A . The heads have 4F25. There is a tag on the intake that has: 390 64 1
46 N 341 D
The firing order is 15426378.
Also on the exhaust manifold it has a M with two C's directly under it.
I almost forgot also on the intake is 4E27:
The motor also had chrome valve covers with Power by Ford imprinted on them.

casting numbers for 390
I can't tell you if it's a special hi-po mill or not, but I can tell you the part number says its from a 64 Mercury and the 4E25/4F27 give us an assembly date around late June of 64.
