On a 5.8 with stock heads and stock stall converter, take a look at the Comp 35-255-5.

You should check the casting info on the block to verify what you have. A 94 should have a f4te, which would be a roller ready block. It will be good to know for sure though, as that will affect which cam to get. If I remember correctly, the casting numbers should be on the bottom side of a ridge, just below the passenger-side cylinder head.

You mentioned that you were planning on doing something with the intake, but remember that the van has limited room above the intake manifold. I believe that the performance truck intakes are too tall, but you can certainly look into that.

Headers can fit, though again you have to watch the clearance around the doghouse opening. I installed Pacesetter headers when I modified the 5.8 in my van, though I did end up having to box out a small area where one of the primary tubes sticks into the footwell area a small amount. I can give you pics or more info on that if you want.

No. That cam will only work with a mass air system. Not SD compatiable

Indeed he did, but his truck came mass air equipped. You can see the Mass air sensor at the beginning of the video.

A 4" body lift should give you the clearance that you would need, but here is a picture of mine:
