creaking noise from steering column
Here are all of the new components that have been replaced within the last 5,000 miles:
Upper ball joints, wheel bearings inner and outer both sides, calipers, routers, brakes (200 miles ago), universal joints, shocks. The noise is coming from the steering rod, I think that's what it is called, it is the part that comes through the firewall from the steering wheel. When I turn it to the left it produces the creaking noise just like in the video only louder. Advice is appreciated, this group has been very helpful to me. I love my 97 ranger with 72000 miles, but I am mechanically challenged. Thanks again,

Upper ball joints, wheel bearings (both sides), calipers, brakes, rotors, grease seals, shocks, and a bunch of other stuff that I do not recall at the moment.
The noise seems to have gotten worse during cold weather and it only does it when I turn to the left. Thanks for any help.
