Tried to blees the slave every way I know how. Power bleed it was well with no result.
If I do get a pedal on it when I start it up it goes away..... It def still has air in it I can feel it.
Removed trans to repair a shift fork and a front counter bearing and support. Now cant get iot bled. Have never had this problem before....or this much trouble
Open the bleeder with the pedal up, press the pedal to the floor, close bleeder, lift pedal back up. Repeat this until you get a good stream of fluid from the bleeder. Then pressure bleed like normal (pump pedal several times, hold to floor, crack bleeder, close bleeder, lift pedal, repeat). Also if the fluid ran out of the master cylinder, you might need to bench bleed the master cylinder before trying to bleed the system.
i used a big flat screwdriver through the inspection whole in te bellhousing and pumped the slave cylinder. works very well, it pushes the air up out of the master, which is the direction that it wants to go anyway so its alot easier than pressure bleeding cause that is trying to force the air down. just take the cap off the master and put a shop rag over it so it dosn't spray fluid everywhere. plus pumping the pedal repedily makes it worse to bleed, it breaks up any air bubble into many smaller ones dispersed throughout the line, making it harder to get them all out.
