I have a 66 F100 SB styleside w/ a 240ci engine in it. Just bought it a couple of weeks ago. Currently it has power steering by "armstrong." Its ok for now but I can tell that it will get old for me relatively quickly. I was wondering if there are any aftermarket or NOS conversion kits available. Its going to be a project I'll get to somewhere down the road. Thanks.
240, find yourself a 75-79 donor truck with a I-6 and same kinda tranny. Buy the truck and bring it home. Get the stearing gear, pump, brackets, pullies, hoses, steering column, I-beams, master cylinder, booster, and the little extra clamps etc. and have power stearing and brakes on your truck.
All 65 - 79 parts will bolt up, You just need to use like trucks. If you have further questions just post them here. I am running 76 parts on my 66
