need help finding seals.
hello, i am having trouble finding gease seals for my old truck (63 f250 4x4 dana44 front). didn't know if you guys went back to 1963 but if anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated. i should say i'm not the mechanic i'm the obsolete parts gopher so if my decription is lacking sorry about that.
the pic in my mechanics shop manual shows a rubber(neopren?) seal and a felt seal located behind the knuckle (trunion?) on the front axle. too old for local parts stores to carry it. i did look at NPD online (pg134 1959-65 f100-f250 dana 44 front axle) catalog but they don't show the rubber or felt seals?.
any ideas where to locate the seals or how to come up with something that works?.
