Calipers
Ok I've absolutly had it! I replace A caliper a year on my truck. Keep buying the ones at local part store (napa or auto value). I am bout ready to do fierce brake job on rear of truck with powerslots and hawk pads. Any suggestions on a better caliper to try?! Thanks

No it has not been the same caliper everytime, but for most part if I remember right, its been the rear like 7/8 of the time! This time the thing seems to be fully extended and is fluid is leaking out of it somewhere, tire is soaked on inside. I know that I changed this one about 3 years ago.
I have never completely flushed brake fluid, do know last time that I changed front one there was almost no fluid in master cylinder.

Are the brake pads being fit to specs? I had a front one locking up on my Explorer because the Ford Garage did not fit them for expansion when hot. Cost me two rotors because of a bad mechanic. They wanted to replace my calipers and I said no and went to my current garage. It was fixed in 15 minutes for $50 including new pads on both sides. I've never had bad rear brakes on a Ford and I did drive a short distance with the Explorer EB on....dah. Check the brake pads clearances maybe, Mike.
