What goes here?

I recently bought this 77 f150. I am working on sorting out the vacuum lines and came across a plug/port in the intake manifold just north of the carb on the passenger side. I don't remember seeing this on the 79 f150 I used to own. It has one hose connection coming from it. Does anyone know what it is, and where it should connect?
The engine is a 77 351M. Here is a link to a picture.

Thanks.

The hose that comes from the carb by the choke thermostat that is T'd off should be one piece going to the vacuum port in the intake. The rubber plug with the 2 hoses hooked to it that the black and white T are connected to originally went to the air cleaner housing.

The hose laying over the valve cover with the busted off line looks like it is going to the vacuum modulator, that should be hooked up to vacuum.

It looks like you have a real mess on your hands.

Shouldn't that hose (the one the arrow's pointing at) that comes off right by the choke thermostat be a straight shot the vacuum advance on the distributer? That big hose on the passenger side valve cover was hooked to the air cleaner. I can't tell if the hose coming off the oil filler cap with the PCV valve is hooked to a vacuum or not, it should be.

Isn't that doo-dad the arrow is pointing at the ported vacuum switch for the EGR?

Here are some more pictures. The nipple on that port that the arrow is pointing to has since broken off. I currently have a hose going from the passenger side of the carb straight to the vacuum advance on the distributor. Then I pulled the classic 2 inch vacuum hose with the screw in the end off the port in the lower front drivers side of the carb and ran a hose from that straight to the EGR valve. The PCV on the oil filler cap is going to a port on the bottom driver side of the carb. I have the brake booster and transmission modulator plugged into the vacuum tree on the rear of the engine. All that to say that now I just have a plug inplace of the port in question. I was trying to match the vacuum diagram that is floating around some of the other posts. There isn't a place for a thermal vacuum switch on the top of the thermostat housing. I wonder if a ported vacuum switch goes to the mystery port instead on this model? When I unscrew the plug there are two small 1/4" or so holes that run through the intake manifold, if that gives anymore clues.
