ur tires u move up to will determine it mostly...
but YES, expect to have to buy more stuff then just the lift kit when u go that high...
the good quality lift kits will have everything u need from a suspension standpoint but it wouldnt in any way address the braking and regearing needed for much larger tires...

a diesel will cope with 35"s tires better then a gasser without regearing...
but even at 35"s tires ur gunna notice a difference...
steering related parts will all be provided with a good quality kit...again the more u spend the better the kit ur gunna get (within reason of course)...
only u will be able to tell if the larger tires are livable after alls said n done...but dont be surrpized within a month or 2 of getting the lift and big tires ur looking at ways to get more power back ..8-)

to fit 35's a four inch is all you need on our trucks, i've seen alot of trucks with this setup and they look awesome, when i get the money to regear again ill be buying a four inch lift with 35's also. with your V10 power shouldnt be bad especially compared to my 5.4 but guys on here with your motor usually only go to 4.56 if they tow but if you dont tow heavy or alot your 4.30 will do fine with the power of the V10

Mine's an 06 V10 4:10 gears. I know it's the 3V engine and different suspension but I was getting 11mpg stock and now 9mpg, changing from stock 33's to 37's. With the SCT X3 from 5star I can still put down I nice patch of rubber. With 4:30's I think you should be good up to around 37-38's. Now you will loose power but I figure if I can still spin my tires (not powerbraking) then I still have enough. I would consider 4:88's in mine when the money is available. But it runs great so I'm not sure.

Assuming that you have 4.30 gears and driving at 65 MPH, here is what is going to happen to the RPM's with various tire sizes using a .71 transmission high gear ratio:
31" Tires - 2,152 RPM's
33' Tires - 2,022 RPM's
35" Tires - 1,906 RPM's
37" Tires - 1,803 RPM's
That's a 3K drop in RPM's going from 31" tires to 37" tires. To keep your current RPM's, you will need to install 5.13 gears. You can use the RPM Calculator to confirm these numbers.
