Perkins Diesel

My truck has a Perkins Diesel installed in it in 1985. I'm happy with the way in runs and I get great gas mileage but I've run into a problem with some clutch linkage stuff.I don't know if this was a kit sold back in the 80's or a custom job. Anyone know? Is there anyone out there selling Perkins conversion kits?Thanks for help in advance!

Uh... what year is your truck? I've heard of kits for 80's fords but not 73-79.

There was a guy running around in a 79 with a Perkins in it. Claimed he was getting 35mpg. It was a home built baby.

My truck is a 78 with a standard transmission. Thanks again for the help. I get close to 30 mpg in mine. Lots of torque but my top speed is 60 MPH.
