Interior Leak Stilll Not Fixed!!!!!

So my aunt took her truck into the dealer just before the warranty was up to get the interior leak fixed, it turned out it had two, one from the front and one from the rear sliding window. The dealer said it was fixed and then two weeks later and just over the 3 yr 36k warranty there was a big rain storm first one since they got there truck back. They noticed it was still leaking, will it be covered since it wasnt repaired the first time or will they have to pay out of pocket? Thanks

check the 3rd (rear) brake light.

it's a well known issue on the 04-06 trucks...and occasionally on the 07-08 trucks

you can fix it for about $3-10 yourself. get some of that DIY Gasket material from your local parts store...or just a good RTV.

Remove the 3rd brakelight and replace the gasket. Either way works...just whichever floats your boat

Thanks, they have replaced the third brake light, after she backed into the garage door and cracked it. They are gonna go talk to the dealer today or tomorow and see if they will cover it, and then go from there.

There should be more than 2weeks warranty on work done at the dealer they should be fixing it till they stop the leaks fore good and not charge you for it.
