Only way it will help is if you manually control it and it will draw an aweful lot of juice while your GP's are on too, IMO.

According to his signature, he wants to delete his plow plugs and just use a AIH to warm up the intake. I sent him a piece of downpipe awhile back for his turbo project.

Hmmm, different, not sure about the train of thought on that.

Mine's still installed and I think I'll keep it there.

dyoung14's motor is an animal. It survives 4k+ RPM shifts. I don't think it plays well with glow plugs.

"Anyone" stinks for a thread title. I read the thread but will not respond because thread titles are important for folks searching. If I was a mod I would delete this thread. Sorry for those I might offend.

Like my folks use to tell me, "If you don't have someting good to say, don't say anytning". The two sarcastic remarks don't add anything to a ligitmate question!

He's just an IDI diesel guy looking for leftover parts that we don't use anymore. He cruises our forum looking for these parts. He's not a regular here. Give him a break. I admire his ingenuity. We all mod our trucks with things that some other people don't understand.

As per his sig.: 1986 ford f250 XLT Lariat 4x4 6.9 n/a... He's looking for parts to complete a project/experiment. I believe the soup bowl is a big bulge on the underside of the air cleaner cover you cut out to get it out of your air cleaner's air intake path. Not sure about the restrictor plate.

Mods can change the title of his thread. He probably could if he double clicks near the title.
