i was to lazy to read every ones posts so ill just tell you wat i think. go with a suspension lift. 6 inches minamum any less would be a waste of money.with a 6 inch kit yu probaly could fit 38,s or larger. for your truck skyjaker is the way to go.

But whiteZombie, what if he does not want that high, because he may actually use the truck and he may have bumper restriction like you seen to ignore in the great State of NJ

6 inches is not high at all it is better to go higher the first time then lift it not like it and lift it again. with a 6 inch kit your truck will be just as functional as stock height. the ride quality may even be better if you spring for a quality kit. as far as bumper restriction you will have no problem with a 6 inch kit. im at 14 inches and i get more thumbs up from cops than any thing.
go big or not at all!!!

the bumper restriction here in arkansas is 3 feet but it is only enforced by the ******* state troopers who have an agenda and want to meet their quota

This is great info, guys. I really appreciate it. I'm looking toward either a 4 or 6 inch and 35s on my F250. All this stuff answers a bunch of questions I had and some things I didn't know to ask. Thanks!

You have a bunch of different options for this task. Just ask White Zombie. His truck was a F-250 with a Ttb dana 44. He upgraded to a Dana 60 with Hysteer steering arms and reverse shackle kit from Sky Manufact.

The original poster needs to give us more info to get a more accurate plan of attack.

my truck is no way near legal and that is the fun part. laws are ment to be bent. but with a six inch kit and a stability test bumper restriction is not somthing to worry about.

But bumper height is. Weather you pass the stability test or not your bumpers have to meet a certain height

I guess it all depends on how big your truck is. If you are rollin on 44-49's ...yeah you'll get your ***** busted.
As long as your truck doesn't look like a rat...ie four different colors of primer and hockey pucks, you shouldn't have a problem.
The smaller the town the less the police have to do.
