Is the motor turning? On our '83 we had to use epoxy putty to re-attach the wiper arm pivots to the linkage.
If the motor isn't getting power there should be a 10A fuse in the block above your high beam switch.

Is this a new vehicle to you and you just tried to use the wipers for the first time? If no fuse is present, try replacing it, but keep in mind it might be out of there for a reason. If fuse is ok (break out the test light) and present, check power at the wiper motor. Good luck.

Not sure about an '83 but on an '84 the wiper/washer fuse is a 7 amp circuit breaker integral with the windshield wiper switch . . .

To all, THANKS for the input! 
As to the raised points:
1. No, the motor does nothing. All mechanical connections look correct.
2. I've had this truck since new, problem happened all at once.
3. There is no fuse noted on the fuse block cover for wipers.
4. Will do some "dash diving" and pull the switch, and see what I see. (main suspect)
Will report back with what I find. Thanks again!
