fuel mileage
hi all, this is a new truck to me and i was just curious at the mileage other 7.3 turbo trucks are getting. I just went on a 400 mile trip and averaged 15.5mpg averaging 65 mph at 2000 rpm. last week i pulled a 20ft car hauler with a f-150 and atv on it. I went over three passes and still averaged 14.5 mpg at 65 mph and 2000 rpm.

Way more than I have ever gotten, mines runs a pretty steady 8-11. It has everything going against it though.....4x4, automatic, dual tires, large stakeside dump bed and an 8800lb or so(depends on fuel load) empty wt.
