Fuel in cranckcase, bad pressure reg. ?

Just started taking motor apart (94 5.8L) gas mixed with oil. Is the pressure regulator the only possiblity (other then someone pouring gas into engine).

Nope.. could also be a stuck injector or a flooded charcoal canister due to a fuel transfer problem.

lower intake maifold gaskets not sealing cause this, i don't think the fuel pressure regulator can put gas into the crankcase.

It can if it fails and dumps gas into the vacuum line.

but from that vacuum line it would go into the intake manifold not into the crankcase right? unless it went through the intake manifold and then out the pcv valve

Significant quantities of raw gas that end up the cylinders usually make it past the rings and into the crankcase. Seen it a few times on here.

No, blowby is when combustion gasses slip past the rings into the crankcase.

Why won't you believe me?
