I think you are unlikely to notice any difference. The Mustang guys claim stock COP's are good to 600 hp. That tells me they have a strong spark, well beyond the engines requirements already.
I have heard the voltage is 45,000 + volts on these coils; so chances are you would not see any difference, not to mention with all the computer controls now you can rev these motors to the moon and not loose coil saturation. The old days the 25,000ish volts and poor electronic ignitions meant that you could feel a difference if you upgraded those, but of course the higher the voltage, the faster you burn out your plugs. Hence the double platinum spark plugs these rigs run now.
