Sheet metal repairs
I have a 77 F-150 that's got rust holes over the rear wheels. There have been some good posts on welding lately and I wondered if anyone has some good advise on installing repair panels? I was thinking of purchasing some via mail order and taking the sawz-all to the fenderwells. I'm a little nervous and don't want to make it look worse than it already does. When I weld the new ones on, is it best to spot weld or weld the entire seam?

I would weld the entire seam and then do the grinding down so the fill job would be nice and smooth. That is what I did with my cab corners... And they turnedout like new...
