1976 fuel filter location....?

1976 fuel filter location....?
Ok, call me nuts, but where is the fuel filter?
I swapped the original engine out- now that I'm thinking about it, I vaguely remember the filter being on the carb, but i'm not 100% sure.
Help me out!

Ohhh my gosh...I'm a total bozo! The filter IS right there on front of the carb. I SOMEHOW overlooked it! I feel dumb now! heh heh.
I overlooked it today and then was looking at my fuel pump wondering how a filter fit in that stupid thing!
Yeah....I found it, it's right on the front of the carb. Duh!
