Been cleaning out the garage lately and have come across some parts from my bracket racing days. One of the parts that I found was a digital tach with a built in shift light. It is one of the Stewart Warner mini tachs.
It's got the standard red, black, and green wire. The green wire being the tach signal pickup.
I'm about 90 percent sure that this won't work on a diesel. Could somebody second my suspicions, or is there a way to splice it in somewhere. If not anybody need a tach...
