I friend of mine did the same thing in his race car at Sebring. Totally melted the pistons to the pad, all of the fluid shot out of the system and he hit a tire wall doing about 70! We could not figure out why he lost the brake fluid until I pulled the rear tires off the car to see if he had any damage in the rear of the car. His response "I thought rear pads lasted forever on these cars."
