390 Carburetor problems
I am having troubles after replacing the original 2bbl with a rebuild of the same. I have a 72 F100 with the 2100 carb. At about half way into the throtle travel, the engine bogs down and spits and sputters. It idles ok and accerates ok. I think it's a vacume issue. I have a vacume hose from the carb to the end of the horn on the distributer and one from the intake to the back side of the horn next to the cap. I have something in the air cleaner that has 2 vacume line leads and they are capped. All other extra vacume ports on the carb are capped. Thanks.

Is the carb a Holley rebuild? If it is, Holley missed the ball on these rebuilds. I personally have went through 4 before finding one that worked decent and still had to rebuild it myself to get all of the fuel leaks stopped. In hind site I would of spent the extra 100 bucks on a new one. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck
