Jeff are those photos recent? I know ya'll have had some rain recently...I just didn't realize it was that much!
Actually those pics were taken this afternoon, and the water has even started falling. It was the 10.6" that fell up toward Arkadelphia that sent the river into a fast rise. We got around 5.5" of rain to help it too! Normal rains of 1/4 to 1/2" seem to have gone away. When it rains now, it comes in 2-5 inches at a time

Holy smokes!!!, I didn't realize it was that much rain had fallen down that part of the state. Did you say what river that is? Want to say Oauchita, but that doesn't seem right.
I wish I could remember what I did with the link for a video of some kind of amphibious car a buddy sent me. The thing was copper colored(Ford Harvest Gold) with a Dodge Dakota/Charger front grill and Corvette taillights. It was a jet drive and the thing would scoot on the water...I bring all that up because that maybe what you need for that homestead. Our Ford trucks can do allot of things...but swim isn't one of them. Maybe one of those WWII era "Ducks" is in your future.
Yep, it's the Ouachita. My Fords don't swim too good, but my recently purchased aluminum bass boat does that job well
Biggest problem with the water is we are just getting into the high water period of the year, we may see this until May Gonna be rough walking under the camp to run the new plumbing
