Auto Transaxle.......
1991 Ford Escort 1.9L(auto)
My dads car will not go in reverse.... but works in drive
Are there any solenoids on the transaxle?
Are there any tsb on this>
Car has about 150,000 miles
Fluid level looks good
I will drop the the trans pan soon,
I think there will be clutch material.....
What years would a transaxle fit?
How the about a 1996 Escorts transaxle, is the trans OBD 2(controlled by PCM),The 1991 escort my dad has is OBD1

I called a trans place, they quote to rebuilt is 700 for , is that right?
