Just an observation. Now with 5 new injectors and the recall (no reprogrammed needed) boost is 3 lbs lower (27) and egt 100 degrees higher (1200) and more power. Running excellent
Oh I know I am going to get linched for this... but seriously can they really do that? I haven't seen anything in writing that states if you do the maintenance you must keep the receipts. Granted I am talking about oil changes, fuel filters, or air filters. My dealership wants 130 bucks to change oil using std crap...I can do it for the same price using synthetic and Motorcraft oil filter. I log it on their site each time I do it which is in 5K intervals. It shows everything I have ever did to it and of course my records are more detailed then the dealers. I can't tell WTH they did based on their input.........
Everything they (dealer) I keep on file, the rest (I do) I log online, I would think that would be sufficient????
I saw this coming a mile away ,, I have an aftermarket warranty ..ESP was a waste for me .. I photo copy all receipts(originals fade) and document all service ,,
Just don't use there recommended repair shop without research .. I had my last truck fixed at one of their body shops that even had Gieco adjusters on site ,, what a frigging joke I made them spray the whole thing again after they screwed up the bondo ,, then a bout 1 year later the clear peeled ,, they fixed it and I sold the thing !! I should have went to my own shop ,, as I had every right to do ''
sorry for the bad experience I had the same thing and they got rid of that shop, now they are with a place that is really good here in town. Very professional.
LOL! they didn't get rid of my shop ,, sad thing was they (Geico)were supposed to follow progress and do a quality control before releasing my truck ( 3 times).. never happened ,, now granted it did look good the last time ,,
