I have spoken with a couple of different Ford dealers who are owned by different people in different states (AK and ND) about the types of oils to use. Surprisingly, the I got the same answer from both dealers. Use the synthetic blend 5-20W. The recommended not using full synthetic because it does too good of a job and will cause the rings and other engine components not to seat properly. Strange.
holy crap did you talk to the janitor?, ford sells fully synthetic
