In the box under the hood there are 4 small relays , switch # 1 With #3 or #4...look very carefully at # 22 & #9 Have you checked the programmer connection ?( make sure the key is off )
He said the tach would twitch very little when cranking. And Fuses are good. Wouldnt no tach while cranking point to the CPS?
not in this case i don't think the CPS is an issue. i trust Rick, the fuel heater probably popped one or two of its spot welds in the fuel bowl and slapped the side of the bowl and popped the fuse, in which case even with a new fuse it will pop another fuse. thats why we gut the fuel bowls.
Just wondering did u check ur altinator for power because if ur altinators bad its going to run off the battery's then it will die after it sucks all the power out of the battery and nothing will work because its not getting enough power

Welcome to FTE PowerSmoker97. good to have ya on board. this isn't a battery/alternator problem. his truck will still crank as far as we know.
Ok got it finally figured out. I had an oil line loose, a glow plug reley bad (why the wait to start light wouldn't come on) and the CPS was also bad which started the problem. But also when when my oil line was loose i was 3 quarts low on oil which couldn't have helped any of the problems
Thx for all the help guys you have been a lot of help figuring out my babies problem.

Im curious, you didnt mention any oil leak till I remember, and you said you had an oil line loose, I dont understand that very well, and more with the high oil pressure this engines works with.
Old,low, no oil will make our vehicles not run properly or at all. I can not explain the mechanics/voodoo behind it in detail but I do know the end result. Perhaps the loose oil line made the PCM/ICP/IPR think it was low? I don't know. Was that your question?
