hard brake pedal...
On my 96 350 my brakes work fine until you go to use them a lot. For instance when you are coming up to a stop sign and you make multiple brakings to stop after the first 2 or so the brake pedal gets pretty hard. The pads are great and brake fluid is up to par. Any advice?? Thanks

Is it diesel? If so the vacuum pump may be getting weak, or you may have a bad connection.

yes, it is a diesel, 5 speed.

Try cleaning or replacing the check valve at the booster, mine used to have a problem kind of like this and when I Seafoamed the intake the problem disappeared

Sounds like a bad vacuum pump. Put a vacuum gauge on it with engine running. Should be around 20in vacuum with a decent pump.
