PSOM or VSS?
96 T-Bird 3.8 4R70w...........Speedometer "sticks" at low speeds, usually have to exceed 25mph for it to come off peg and register speed, otherwise accurate and normal at higher speeds. Odometer has died and not moved in about 1500 miles estimated, thinking the VSS sensor may be bad but others have said it could be the PSOM (electronic speedo/odometer head in dash).......Replacing the speedo/odometer head opens legal can of worms in this state, and vehicle actually only has maybe 60,000 miles on it and I would like the odometer to reflect that fact.........Thoughts?
