ND, John or anyone else know the part number for 1965 custom cab stainless windshield molding clips and know if these are available or if the clips were used on other models/years? Thanks again.
Lefty Rodan , State of South Jersey
Clips? The trim has no clips at all since it installs into a groove in the window seal. It does have two joint covers top and bottom to cover the small gaps.
Lefty, Bill does part numbers, prolly will have some for the parts that you ask about, but I am up to my ear holes in doubt you will be able to use them to get any replacement parts.
Mike, Going out on a limb, but I am guessing that he is referring to the joint clips that cover the butt joints in the setup, not some that hold the molding in place.
That would be my guess too, John, the OP wants the w/shield moulding's stainless steel joint clips.
There are no moulding clips that retain the w/shield mouldings, the Custom Cab's w/shield weatherstrip has a groove in it that retains the mouldings.
4) C1TZ8103094A .. W/shield Moulding Joint Clip / Obsolete / No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
Fits Custom Cabs: 1961/66 F100/1100 // 1961/69 N/NT/T500/1000 // 1967/69 F800/1000.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mike: There are four of these joint clips, not two.
One is used between the right/left upper mouldings-center. One is used between the right/left lower mouldings-center.
One is used between the left side pillar mouldings-center. One is used between the right side pillar mouldings-center.
Thanks guys:
I should have been more specific in describing the molding clips as molding gap covers but we we were on the same page. If these are rather simple in design I can probably fabricate them as I have for 49-50 Mercurys but finding a donor would make life simpler. Lefty

camperspecial65 prolly has a bunch of these, as he's a first class scrounger and has all sorts of extra parts for these trucks.
Other FTE members that might have some are Bill W and Garbz2. Click on these members user names, then "Contact Info."
LOL...thanks Bill...Ya..when I see these trucks, I get as much as possible depending on the price of course...I wouldnt spend 20 clams on a ashtray or glovebox door...LOL
I know I dont have any of the windshield moldings themselves...I HAD a set, but theres a long story that goes with it...joint clips...I would have to look as those tiny suckers have a habit...like fasteners of migrating to the bottom of the box...
I will look and see if I have any...I got a full set of trim for the 57-60 big backwindow along with the glass for REAL cheap...think fire sale...
