New '03 Expy

Just picked up my new '03 Expy--all options but the tire pressure sensor and navigation. Bought it X-plan. Purchased an extended warranty 6/75k for $1245 under a "special program". Simple question--did I get a decent deal on the extended warranty?

Just curious - why would you want an extended warranty on a brand new vehicle?

Good point of discussion--the price seemed right, and I was afraid I wouldn't get the same price at 35,999 miles.
