bought a syphon sandblaster from sears. got everything setup with the sand and compressor the compresser is 150 psi so im pretty sure its enough. anyways it dosent work the sand comes out alittle dosent do much of anything on metal.
mine will spray sand clear down to 50 psi or so, what are you using for sand? it sounds like its plugged up. put the nozzle up against something (I use my leg, but do at your own risk) so when you pull the trigger it forces air down the siphon tube. usually clears out anything in there.
its blasting sand or thats what it said on the bag. its not the black sand media. ill try that thanks. cuz when i tried to use it last i could feel alittle comeing out but when i took the hose off the sand fell out of the bottom of the gun
psi is not what you need its cfm (Volume of air)
do you know the size of your compressor?
make sure the compressor has enough cfm to supply the blaster.
Air supply needs to be short as possible, with big hose and you need to take your quick connects off, as they are to much restriction. The Steel blast nozzles wear pretty quickly. I haven't used mine in years, switched to power washer sand injector. If you are doing a car, or other big project, hire someone with a Soda Blaster.
