rear pass side seat belt problem

middle bench passenger side seat. (single flip forward) female receptacle seems to be foobar seems to jam and cant get seatbelt in had a look no easy obvious way to change it ...hints suggestions???? i have another single cloth seat avail is it easier to switch the cloth for the leather?? the bottom part of the seat looks easy enough to switch but i havent dug into looking at the back portion yet sorry if this isnt really clear 2 yr old daughter crawling all over me....

You don't state what year truck you have but you might check to see if it's still under warranty. Seat belts used to have a longer warranty than the base.

sorry 2000 ex and i checked for it for pennies/dimes/cheese/etc etc etc
it looks like you have to remove part of the slider mechanism? i had a quick look this afternoon but the snow had my enthusiasm level dipping. thought id check on here before the big disassembly

got er figured had to remove seat form truck and undo 4 torx bolts on back section of seat to gain access to hidden torx for seat belt...

Maybe I don't understand.

Why did you have to take the seat out? The middle seat slides foreward and the buckles are right there and open to replace. I had to replace both of the buckle end assemblies on my middle row when I bought it. Ford paid for the buckles under warranty, but I put them in to save time.

What kind of setup do you have?

it was single seat pass side not middle bench seat the female seatbelt end is not accessible without removing torx bolts (two diff sizes for some reason) from seat back and sliding it back

One of my seatbelts on the 3rd row was jammed when I bought mine. I used a pick set to free it up - then sprayed it well with lubricant. Not sure what had jammed it but it's worked well since then. See if you can compare the receptacle which is jammed with one near it - mine was obvious as to what to try and 'unjam'. good luck.
