Mustang II front end conversion?

I have a 61 f100 -- i was looking to make some upgrades -- disc brakes and power steering being high on the list. While searching for a disc brake kit, i thought about the Mustang II front end. Found some on ebay:

TCI MUSTANG II FRONT END 1957 - 64 FORD F 100 TRUCK IFS:eBay Motors (item 220522264045 end time Dec-15-09 15:58:11 PST)

i can afford the swap -- just didnt know if anyone else has done it and if it is the better way to go (since i can get power steering, disc brakes, R&P, tilt steering, better handling all in one shot).

Same here. Do a search for carcrafter22's project for the whole story.

Yeah i have been doing research like a mad man and I have come to the same conclusions -- 03+ cv cross member seems like the ideal situation. Now to just locate a donor car.... are you guys going to try to buy a cop car used? or try and find one salvage?

The no limit setup looks great - if you've got the $$ & the skill to install it. All the aftermarket kits put your life (& those of your passengers & other drivers) in the hands of your welding skill & the perfect integrity of your welds. I like the crown vic because of the fact that the welding required is secondary to the big honkin bolts that hold the puppy in!

I've been trolling govdeals, craigs and copart for a donor vehicle. Missed one a few weeks ago for under $400 for the whole car! I had an open bid on 2 cars on different sites and have no space for two. Note to self - don't be that dumb again!

If you haven't heard of it yet, searchtempest is an awesome way to search Craig's across multiple cities. Try it. I'm hooked!
