Guys, thanks for all the help. The bullet connectors from Radio Shack worked well.
I have one more question. I believe the glow plug relay is located on the right front fender well next to the battery but, what is the relay that's located on top of the engine block with a Z shaped coil on it? Again this is on a 1987 F350 6.9L.
I couldn't find them anywhere on that site, but I did find 3 different sizes here: Bullet Terminal Connectors
Does anyone know what size the glow plug connector is? Also, the site that I found above offers either Nylon, Vinyl, or heat-shrinkable insulation on the various sized connectors.

That connector is rated to 150deg. I wouldn't be satisfied with the life considering the amount of work involved to pull and replace the harness. I bougth one for my '88, I know they are different, from the local International Truck dealership. Set me back $90 and I had to do some work on it after I got it home, but the connectors are correct and I am certain that they will survive the heat better.
The thing that got me mad was that where the wires were crimped into the lug that mounts to the controller one side crimped down on the wire and the insulation but the other only cought the insulation. So my spiffy new $90 harness only worked on one side until I crimped a new lug connector on it. That cost me a second controller, now sitting on the shelf as a back up.
