pitman arm ?

hey guys/gals i am in the middle of a 4x4 conversion on my truck, i got the front end in but i had to use the stock 2wd pitman arm and it drops down too low and hit a bolt (i cut off a little of the bolt so it would clear for now) but it seems like the 2wd's had a 32 spline pitman arm and the 4wd's had a 36 spline am i correct on this? if so anyone know of a place i can see about getting a 32 spline arm that will work for me? thanks.

i'm not sure if it matter 2wd or 4wd, it might just be factory or manufacture date, either way. as far as i recall you local parts store should be able to get you what you need
