Have a psd and had a bunch of problems with it . Got most of them fixed except one. (5% of the time the truck wont start . When it does it runs fine sometimes or if you dont keep your foot on the pedal it will stall. When you are drivng it will stall but not restart . This cps was replaced by ford . Got another one and swapped it same symptons. Is it possible i got 2 bad cps . Tach moves to maybe a 100 rpm while cranking. through a p3304 code if memory is correct . it say itermintent signal with sensor . Wiring harness looks good . When it will not start there is no smoke out of muffler.
My truck would not start this morning and with help from the forum it running just fine now. You can read all the replys, thread is on the first page "won't start"
Turned out to be CPS and or fuel canaster heater, if your WTS light does not come on when turning the ignition switch to the on position it's likely the heater has shorted. As in the thread, I disconnected the canaster heater wire, installed a new fuse and it started right up.
