4.6L Supercharger??
WHATS THE BEST WAY TO GAIN MORE POWER FOR MY CRAPPY 4.6L V8.. BECAUSE I CANT GAIN THAT MUCH POWER, ESPECIALLY TO THE REAR WHEELS..
I ALREADY HAVE A CHIP AND EXHAUST BUT I AM LOOKING FOR A WAY TO GENERATE MORE POWER THAN A 5.4 OR EQUAL POWER..
ANY IDEAS?

I don't believe anyone makes a blower set up for your engine, so unless you're alright with running nitrous, or performing an engine swap, you're going to have to put together some sort of custom set up based on one of the 2V Mustang kits. I suggest something in the positive displacment variety like a Tork Tech, or Kenne Bell.
It won't add any power, but swapping out to a set of 4.10 gears will help acceleration some in a pinch.

Best way to get power from your 4.6....
1. Gather a bucket, hose, 6 towels and some soap
2. Find a good quailty wax
3. Clean the inside really well.....
4. Then.....the next part is the most critical....
5. Place a for sale sign with your phone number in the window.....sell the thing and buy one with a 5.4L.....

Go fast parts for the 4.6L are few and far between. Sure a couple horsepower here....a half dozen there will add up, but so will the cost. And when you consider you're moving 6,000lbs worth of pick up truck, a 20hp gain isn't going to move mountains.

if you really want to spend some money....your probably going to have to adapt some mustang parts to your truck.....but they won't be a direct bolt on for most...
and don't buy into the hype of throttle body spacers....cold air intakes.....or replacement cats for power.....they won't help...and can even go backwards.....your best hope is to try and find a tuner....

CAI would probably be the only other thing you could add. You can't really do much performance wise with these 4.6l's

If you're willing to spend the money, I'm sure some Mustang specialist could get something going for you. The older SVT Cobras put out about 400HP/TQ from SC 4.6 engines. I'm pretty sure it would be a lot cheaper to get a truck with a 5.4. Or even cheaper, get an older truck and put a 428" crate engine in it if you really want to be a power player.
