carburator problems need help!

carburator problems need help!
I have a holley 1bbl on my 223cid and it was flooding so bad, gas was running out between the head and the intake manifold so I rebuilt the carb and replaced the intake gasket and it's still doing the same thing. Does anyone know what could be causing it to flood out so bad? I don't know much about carburators, that might be part of the problem! Thanks.

The only thing that controls fuel going in to the carb is the float, needle and seat.
a dammaged seat or needle for 1.
2. a pin hole in the float did it have fuel in it?
3. poor float level setting
just a few things to check!
